Chapter co-authored by Aaron Mannes on Semantic Web and Counter-Terror

Emergent Information Technologies and Enabling Policies for Counter-Terrorism, a recent publication for which I co-wrote the chapter "Semantic Web Technologies for Terrorist Network Analysis" with my MINDSWAP colleagues Jen Golbeck and Jim Hendler, has been named the book of the month by the IEEE Communications Society.

(Ordering the book at the above link through the IEEE Communications Society is worth 25% off the list price.)

The chapter outlines how I would design a Semantic Web portal that could be useful for analysts studying terrorist activity. It was, in effect, a blueprint for the research site for my project at University of Maryland.
